The new direction of FF looks bizarre.
ff_now_02.jpg

FF's lineup is certainly the most surprising part of the story. Gone are the Richards kids and their freaky friends. Instead, the Future Foundation team will be lead by Ant-Man, with She-Hulk (Jen type), Medusa the queen of the Inhumans, and Miss Thing, a new human character wearing a Thing suit backing him up.

Miss Thing may be the dumbest looking character since the Orb.

So is Marvel really just gonna act like Thanos, Starlord, and Drax didn't all die in Thanos Imperative? :snoop:

Thanos, Starlord, and Nova died in the cancerverse and Nova and Starlord had statues erected in their honor. Thanos incinerated Drax into ashes. Now all of a sudden they're all back and the Guardians of the Galaxy are back together in Avengers Assemble with no explanation like it's nothing even though Starlord's final legacy was an acknowledgement that the GOTG weren't powerful enough and were to be replaced by the Annihilators.

Have some fukking respect for the reader. :smh:

They are trying to build interest for the upcoming Guardians movie. I'm looking forward to see what they do with Nova, though

R.I.P. Joe Kubert
Industry legend Joe Kubert has passed away at the age of 85.

Perhaps best known as artist of DC’s Hawkman and Sgt. Rock, according to his biography on the website of the art school he founded in 1976 – New Jersey’s The Kubert School – Kubert began drawing comic book professionally at the age of 12 in 1938. He also created, with Norman Maurer, the prehistoric character and book Tor. His long, distinguished career has included drawing, writing, editing and teaching, including fully writing and illustrating original graphic novels in the past several years.

He of course is the father of artists Andy and Adam Kubert, both celebrated comic book artists as well.
