People are def sleeping on it. Hopefully DC gives it a chance to grow and doesn't cancel it too quickly.I swear I'm about to stan this book hard, because I think people are sleeping

Acclaimed comics scribe Warren Ellis has been tapped by Dynamite Entertainment to write their new James Bond 007 ongoing series, due to hit shelves in November. Paired with artist Jason Marsters, Ellis is launching the first official comic series based on Ian Flemming's seminal spy series in over two decades.
"Ian Fleming's James Bond is an icon, and it's a delight to tell visual narratives with the original, brutal, damaged Bond of the books," Ellis said in a statement (via Newsarama).
Ellis cemented his place as a luminary in the comics industry with works like Transmetropolitain, Thunderbolts, Stormwatch, The Authority and Planetary, which showcase the kind of gritty goodness and cinematic flare we've come to expect from Bond.
The series will reportedly follow Bond as he returns to London, after a mission in Helsinki, to take over the spy duties of a 00 agent who has since fallen.
Diggory Layock, great-nephew of Ian Fleming and part of Ian Fleming Publications, Ltd., shared his excitement for Ellis' work on the series, touting, "We were thrilled when Warren agreed to write the first story in this exciting new chapter of literary James Bond...Warren's style is gritty, dark and unique and we can't wait to see James Bond embroiled in an adventure of his creation."
oh shyt, this looks ill. I kinda prefer a one pop graphic novel format over a continuous comic book series though.
Garth Ennis, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti and Paul Jenkins are among the first wave of writers working on creator-owned projects for publishing startup AfterShock Comics.
According to Deadline, they're joined by Justin Jordan, Frank Barbiere and Marguerite Bennett. Neil Gaiman, Jim Starlin, Amy Chu and Brian Stelfreeze have also signed on for the company's first short-story anthology.
Mike Marts left his job as executive editor at Marvel in April to help Caliber Comics veteran Joe Pruett launch AfterShock.
“When we launched AfterShock, our mission was to attract the best comic book creators in the business, and we’re beyond excited to develop original projects with these industry leaders,” Marts, the company's editor-in-chief, said in a statement. “But it’s only the beginning.”
Doomwar was pointless except in breaking down BP. The only worse breakdown of a character in recent time was Chaoswar for Hercules and Cho.
