Has anyone read Galactic Storm? I've been contemplating on copping the trades, but I'm not sure if they're worth it.
I thought Gamora did specify that Drax was dead and Quill was stuck with Thanos in the CancerVerse. After that she lumped both of them together but I don't think Bendis meant Drax has retcon-replaced Richard.

The fact that Priest's run on Black Panther isn't on this list while seriously overrated (but far less influential) runs like Bendis/Maleev's Daredevil, Hickman's FF, Brubaker/Aja/Fraction's Immortal Iron Fist, and Waid/Weiringo's FF are is crazy.
The whole modern interpretation of Black Panther as the cool, nuanced and complicated character he is now is due entirely to Priest.
I know. Not only was the entire event a festering pile of shyt, but it was totally pointless. I thought at least the original 5 would go back to the past, but even that didn't happen.Nothing of significance even happened in BOTA lmao I have a feeling Marvel only did this event because the X-Men aren't part of Infinity
Whedon's run was godly. So was #13 on the list @R=GI believe that list is based on votes from CBR posters. So it's a bunch of people voting on stuff they probably never read or people who just got into comics voting on things that they heard was dope. The simple fact that Whedon's Astonishing run made the list should show tell you everything you need to know. I like Wheadon's run, but it damn sure isn't one of the best 100 comic book runs of all time.
Whedon's run was godly. So was #13 on the list @R=G
CBR has a gay love for Grant Morrison...doesn't change the fact that he is a hack gimmick writer.
It was better than any X-Men run since Claremont in his heyday except for da gawd Morrison's.It was good, but it's vastly overrated. There was nothing in his run that hadn't been done before in X-Men comics. At it's core it was just incredibly high quality fan fic right down to the constant references to older shyt.
