It's written by Al Ewing (co-write Jennifer Blood with Garth Ennis) and drawn by Greg Land.

I do have to say that this will be the most ethnically diverse super-hero team in any comic nowadays.

They must of been listening to those objections over Uncanny Avengers being a based on a Xavier's dream but not having any Black, Asian, or Latina characters on it...too many "blondes and blue eyes" except for Sunfire of course who is from Japan.

Nobody knows...

It seems the entire point of that "character" is to be a special mystery character for the first few issues of a new series. The Ronin character has always been an established character that's hiding their identity for some reason or another.
