If you are able to get past that, it's a great event. Granted, it's a leapto go from wanting epic fighting to embracing it's all just fukkery. But hey, it is really fun fukkery :heh: it took me till the second Hellions issue to fully "get" what it was all about and when I re read it was a dope.

Having said all that, the last 2 isdues give you all the action and epicness everyone wanted out of this, imo :yeshrug:
Ehh, I wouldn’t say it was great. It was solid. Last 3 issues were good. I’m not reading any of the X line, so is Apoc back? If so, what’s he doing now?

@AquaCityBoy I wholeheartedly agree about The Many Deaths of Laila Starr. Such a great book. Glad to see someone else besides me read it.

Monsters and Laila Starr were my 1A and 1B for best comics of 2021.

Monsters was an amazing and intricate character study, but Laila Starr spoke to me on a deeply emotional level.

No love for Something Is Killing The Children? I think I still have a couple issues left to read, but I thought it was great so far. It's pretty gory, but the thing that throws me off the most is seeing kids depicted that way. I don't know if I've ever seen children being mutilated like that in any other medium. :picard:

Started the first part of Hickman’s F4. The Dark Reign series was fun. Starting the main run. I read the second part some years back; don’t remember it. Probably gonna do the complete run this time.

So Rachel Summers and Betsy Braddock are gay now. Okay,

Genis is back and Mark Waid is writing, Nice surprise drop. :blessed:

I been wondering for ages why nobody's done anything with George RR Martin's "Wildcards" books. Seeing a new number 1 hopefully means they (disney) may have something in the works.

Tigra kissing Jessica Jones all casual like and Jessica didn't even bat an eye. Okay.

Gambit is temporarily dead. I havent read the new number 1. Its set back when him and LoliOroro were thieving all over Cairo, Illinois.

Batman: Fortress is actually the most fun I've had reading a Batman book since early Tom King.

I <3 Bunny Mask.

i wonder how long theyre gonna keep rachel and besty together. rachel deserves better than whatever the hell current bets is.

and after reading genis, im starting to think peter david is one of my favorite comic writers. seeing genis back, but also as his goofy self really makes me look forward to his future adventures with rick. kinda curious why monica was in the mindlink with rick and genis though

Genis, IMO, has one of the GOAT costumes.
Almost every hero these days has a modernized, nearly MCU style costume...Genis' doesn't look outdated or out of place at all now.

Anyone reading the whole Radiant Black/ Radiant Red/ Rogue Sun / SuperMassive / Inferno Girl Red comic line?
I am.

Rogue Sun is my favorite because it's like a soap opera-esque melodrama. :mjlol:

Plus Kyle Higgins and Ryan Parrott both worked on the Boom Power Rangers comics, and you can definitely see the Japanese tokusatsu influences throughout the whole universe.

X-Men Red was so fukking epic holy shyt :damn: wow: can't wait for the Fisher King to show what he's all about :blessed:

Gillen's Immortal X-Men continues to be :banderas: that last panel was something else.

X-Men Red and Immortal X-Men continue to be the stars of the relaunch.

Let Gillen and Ewing continue to build for these 3 years, I have full confidence in them :salute:
