What a loaded week for the mutants

Hell Fire Gala was cool, I was afraid of where they would take the Moira/Mary Jane stuff but I thought it was done pretty damn well.

Immortal X-Men was again great. Sinister's fukkery still doesn't get old for me, this fukker has lived through Judgment Day countless times and reset the timeline using his Moiras

The preview for Judgment Day was good too, but I can't imagine a lot of people being excited about this big event unless they read and liked Gillen's Eternals (thankfully I did). I hope the X-line tie-ins are good because there's a lot of cools shyt going on across a bunch of books and having a 10-12 week event could fukk it all up.

Really interested in how Judgment Day #1 is received. I thought it was a damn good opener but I have no clue how people that haven't been following the X-Line + the Eternals will feel about all of this.

Marte Gracia made Schitti's art look amazing. For moments I thought I was watching Pepe's art

I thought AXE: Judgment Day #1 was really good and that was a shock because I hated that Eternals focused one-shot from a couple weeks ago.

And I swore that was Pepe Larraz on art when I read the issue for the first time.

A.X.E Judgment Day #1 was really good.
The X-men writers have destroyed Moira though(edit: specifically the hell turn after those terrible Wolverine books). Almost wish they just left her alone or she just disappeared after Destiny and Mystique found her.

I was at Moira ONCE AGAIN laying out a simple plan for an easy W and a dude fukking it up instantly...AND telling her not to worry because everything was going to be fine because he knows what he's doing (just like Chuck & Erik)

I never cared about the OG Moira so I loved her retcon. It's a shame they wasted so much potential in such an awful story (XLives/XDeaths) that ended with a ridiculous heel turn they haven't shown any sign of making it better.

MJ is a spokesperson/advocate for the mutant plant drugs

Moira created an MJ clone and put herself in it to infiltrate the Hellfire Gala

Spider-Man is there. Also, you know... mutants and redheads.

All this trouble to set up Mars/Arrako and the new X-Men Red and then in one year since rhe terraforming, Uranos just kills everyone? What's the point of X-Men Red then?

Uranos = generic Darkseid wannabe with a horrible name.

X-Men Red goes beyond this crossover so we gotta wait and see what was the point of doing this. My guess is that the new Celestial is gonna fix it or that Ewing's job will be to change Arakki culture so they can begin to comeback too.

I was surprised they pulled the trigger so fast though. I thought they would play this card by the end of the Krakoa era/run.
