Poison Ivy been a surprisingly dope read. It may feel a bit too much like a shoujo manga for a lot of folks though

Avengers Forever was great, IMO. Not "fukking great", which is like a 5 mic rating from me at this point, but it was great.

DC vs Vampires: Wasn't as good as the Damian one shot that came out last month. fukk Harley Quinn being the focus of everything. And since when did Mr. Bones' powers work like that? Can someone remind folks that he's not an actual talking skeleton?

Flashpoint Beyond was okay. The Kal/Ivy/Floronic Man pairing was kinda cool

Ghost Rider been a great horror comic since it came back out. Feels like it's flying under the radar though


Didn't read Legion of X or Sabertooth. Might forxe myself to later. If I'm bored.

Legion is kinda meh for me, the "reveal" did not make me more interested in this story.

Sabertooth was a cool mini. I hope Victor gets a better artist for the sequel.

I have given up on them remembering that Mr. Bones has transparent skin. The fact that they even remembered he has the acid touch powers is more than I expect.

It's only 2 issues out, but Dark Crisis is Doesn't even feel like an event.

I finished the multiverse justice league book that lead to it and dropped the rest when I realized it was supposed to be some variant of 5g. Noone wanted it then, and they don't want it now

I guess they gave Slott that book so he can be busy with something and try to get people to buy because of his past in Spidey (which I know was very inconsistent but still had the last few memorable Spidey arcs).

What a loaded week for the mutants

Hell Fire Gala was cool, I was afraid of where they would take the Moira/Mary Jane stuff but I thought it was done pretty damn well.

Immortal X-Men was again great. Sinister's fukkery still doesn't get old for me, this fukker has lived through Judgment Day countless times and reset the timeline using his Moiras

The preview for Judgment Day was good too, but I can't imagine a lot of people being excited about this big event unless they read and liked Gillen's Eternals (thankfully I did). I hope the X-line tie-ins are good because there's a lot of cools shyt going on across a bunch of books and having a 10-12 week event could fukk it all up.

I have been a fan of The Eternals for a long rime and I liked Gillen's series but I really don't see how this Judgment Day stuff is going to hook in people if it continues to be this heavily focused on The Eternals. The Judgment Day one shot was so blah with all of the exposition about the primary directives and shyt.

I'm not sure either. I guess that's why it's an Avengers/X-Men/Eternals crossover. My guess is that they hope people will buy it because all the heavy hitters are involved in some way but it's a very "inside baseball" story. Same shyt happened with Empyre tbh..

I mean, Uranos gonna show up as the big bad guy in the beginning and people gonna be like you had to read a fukking tie-in to Gillen's Eternals to get his full backstory and motivations

I think it's gonna be a well written crossover but it wouldn't shock me at all if it bombs and years later is considered a good one in hindsight once it's collected.
