New Mutants continues to deliver too We finally have a mutant that has a better home than Krakoa and decided to leave.

Beta Ray Bil has been great so far. Skurge has become a quick favorite of mine just from issue #2.

And New Mutants has gotten back on track after a bit where it lost its way. The art especially is so good...Reis does a helluva Bill Sienkewicz impression with his style.

I hope they explore something like this or something similar. Say some mutant in Russia gets killed by some drunks at a bar but the drunks didn't know they were a mutant. Would Krakoa citizens go after them? How would Russia react to mutants coming through in their country? Or what if a mutant in Arkansas kills a human? Krakoa says they'll handle it but say the governor of Arkansas says no, that mutant needs to stand trial for murder. These are things I want them to explore in the X-titles.

It's a 12 issue "event" that will happen in every single X-Book (so its just gonna last 4 weeks) that's gonna shape every big storyline for most of those books.

They using the Gala as an in-world event were everything related to mutants will be revealed to the world:

They will announce the new X-Men team (that hasn't existed since Hickman's run started, they got away with having an X-line without a legit X-Men team doing hero shyt for 2 full years).

They will reveal some intergalactic fukkery.

They will show possible conflicts with other nations.
