See I enjoyed that Kraven hunting all the animal themed costumed people story but everything else about Spencer's run has been ass.

Yeah, that's fair.

As a general point, the bigger, more action-heavy arcs like Hunted and Last Remains have been better than these corny, goofy stories that Peter look like a doofus, like him having to go back to school, being broke and having a bunch of roommates, arguing with Jonah, and getting on everybody's nerves.

The problem is the latter is like 75% of this run, and we've had about 20 issues straight of a big story arc so we're bound to get some more goofy shyt after this. :francis:

I was listening to a podcast where the guy said those stories were the 'reward' for sitting through those longer arcs, and I hit the :scust: because I feel the exact opposite. Hunted and Last Remains are the only times Spencer writes Peter as a competent character.
