bendis got what he wanted in the end. the question is without an attachment to an extremely popular character, will anyone care about it?
They will probably make it part of the DC show universe so the possibility of crossing over with Flash, Legends and whichever shows will be left on The CW will probably help it get viewers.

Supergirls ending, black lighting is ending, flash will probably be over soon, so that leaves superman and lois, batwoman and the new wonder woman series. All of which are untested. That might be enough, but i dont know...

Insane Donald Blake got me looking all the way sideways at this Thor book. This shyt is not working at all. Also, it might just be me but Cates writing every villain like they're the end all of all things that ever were is getting real repetitive.
I was hoping it would be a case where Blake goes insane and uses his intelligence to become like a serial killer version of Lex Luthor for Thor.
Having him singlehandedly whoop all of Asgard's ass was a bit of overkill and was giving me Batman Who Laughs vibes where the writer is so enamored with making a villain "cool" that they end up making them an over-powered obnoxious presence in their work.

I had a bad feeling when the being that had galactus shook got ended in a quick manner.

I legit marked out! :gladbron:

Old ass Cyclops still being down with the Champions is low-key one of the best things they have done with the character in a long time and it happened entirely by accident (bytch-ass Bendis).
I marked out too. I keep forgetting that young Cyclops was apart of the Champions.

That was a cool moment.
Still think this whole story is awful though.
In a world where they already went through all the stuff with registration during Civil War and how it all ended up getting corrupted and out of hand, I can't buy into the adult heroes just being like :manny: "fukk them kids" like how it's coming across in this storyline.
