He is the definitive Batman writer and his influence can't be underestimated.
Then adding in his work on Green Arrow, The Question, Iron Man, being the editor who put Frank Miller on Daredevil...dude's fingerprints are on so much lasting things in comics history.

Man, I forgot he was on the OG Question run. I have all the trades and even bought the one-offs (Quarterly and Annuals) when I found them in the cheap boxes. I remember buying the first issue because I wanted to get it signed by him one day.
