I felt he started doing this heavy around Endgame. It went out of control with Metal. I haven't checked his JL run, but I feel it's gonna be heavy, too. :heh:

I love how he exploring The Source Wall and what’s REALLY behind it. BUT, the Legion Of Doom, Lex becoming some kind of new being, that monitor broad, then the underlying story of a traitor in the Justice League.....then to top it off The Batman Who Laughs is running around. It’s nuts!

I know it's a broken record at this point but can we once again recognize how crack rocks Aaron's Avengers is?? :damn:

Never knew i'd ever care about a gorilla man :wow:

that tragic back-stabbing muthafukker! :scust:

shyt is ridiculous. And there's SO much shyt going on.

This Russia shyt

Agents of Wakanda

Red Widow

Dracula

Spies and Double Spies

Squadron Supreme

Coulson

Mephisto

Then I looked at this issue like ":comeon: oh, great. War of the Realms" issue that's basically a recap with 3 new pages"

Issue ended I was like :gladbron:

This was one of my favorite reads of the week made even more enjoyable by how much of a surprise it was because I went into it with the same meh energy that it was a War of the Realms crossover (I'm kinda ready for this event to end already).
Plus I have always been a fan of Gorilla Man. That character has been way underutilized.

Justice League Dark was really good this week mostly because it re-established that Mordru is powerful as hell and is not to be fukked with.
I know that Snyder's Justice League book gets most of the attention but JL: Dark is my pick for best Justice League book being published currently.

Batman Comic Writer Tom King to Depart Series Early - IGN

I have not been a fan of King's run at all, but if this is true it sucks. The book has sold consistently enough to allow him to finish his story, and he was already talking about the conclusion just a few days ago.

From the article:
Rumor of King’s departure from Batman first appeared on Bleeding Cool where it was suggested that Issue #85 will be his last and he was being pulled off the title by DC and Warner Bros.
If the above is true it probably means that DC/WB is going to try and make the Batman comic be more in line with whatever Matt Reeves is doing with the movie.

I never understood why they do this. Whenever these movies are released it's not like there is a huge influx of fans who jump onto the title(s). You MIGHT have a lapsed reader go to a comic shop and pick up a title after a movie drops but that's about it.

Same reason until recently the studios wouldn't allow tv/movie versions coexist. I'm positive these decisions are made by suits with zero love/respect for the genre.
