Creator of Black Lightning on the new Batman and the Outsiders book:

I thought Cyborg was Batman's support negro? :dwillhuh: (politically correct term being Batman's calculator)

More so, i thought they squashed the beef. or am i mistaking it with static shock and the milestone creators?

dc always beefing with creators of black characters that shoot lightning :patrice:

I understand Isabella's point but he is about 30 years late with this gripe. The second Black Lightning was included in the Batman & The Outsiders team he became part of Batman's supporting cast.
The thing he should be really mad about (and what has irked me since the BL TV show came out) is how even with a successful TV show nobody at DC saw fit to bump up Black Lightning's importance in the DCU as a stand alone solo character.

Nah IMO cyborg is more like batman living teleporter and it is milestone they have problem but if I remember it right it has something do with static creator and milestone co-owner wife she holding up what ever things DC would like to do with the milestone ..
ISabella is specifically talking about how Black Lightning was used in Detective Comics and then how that spun off into the new Batman & The Outsiders comic book that came out this month.

But it's DC/WB. They don't know how to run with the momentum.

They did better with Green Arrow, Flash and Supergirl when their shows came out but they barely tried with the Legends team and did pretty much nothing with Black Lightning.

They just canceled both Titans and Green Arrow even though they had successful shows out.

They really don't seem to care about brand synergy like that.
