Iol yea in 2015 none of them broads are impressed just because you an American. The Brasilian chick I was with last week in Salvador spoke english & french in addition to portuguese and has good paying job working in statistics. tryin to trick with that broad wouldve been a failure
. I was joking around with her sister at one point - they have their valentines day in June. I said yall late as fukk it was back in February in America. Her little sister was like 'bruh fukk america, they not the boss of us'
AirBnb is the shyt
.
Rio - I used it to get a better deal and more space for me and my boy in Rio during world cup (airbnb is also now official alternative accommodation sponsor for olympics next year), we ended up paying half for a 2br apt of what 2 separate hotel rooms wouldve cost us. Also it seemed like a lot of hotels in Rio had strict rules about being able to bring guests back to your room.
Didnt have to worry about that with Airbnb
in Panama - the apt turned out to be actually much bigger than what I thought from the pictures.
& in NYC - was a little cheaper than a hotel in midtown, but NYC is NYC so prices were not that much different.
The main times I use it are if I'm going to a place where I want to be right in the middle of the action and the hotels are more expensive. Airbnb usually turns out to be a little cheaper. And I like to use it especially if I'm traveling with other people and don't want to be in the same hotel room as them. So far I haven't had any bad experiences, but I've heard of a few people complain that a place was real trashy when they got there (you can call/email airbnb support right away and they'll book you a hotel on the spot if that happens) or the pics were misleading. Hosts want to protect their good reviews so this probably rarely happens
My rule of thumb is always look at the reviews, the more reviews the place has the better you can get an accurate picture of what it's really like. And I always go for 'Entire apt'. None of that renting just a room with the host still being there
