birthday is 3 weeks from today so going away, narrowed it down to either lisbon portugal or amsterdam netherlands haven't been to either, price for flight is about the same

Either would be good for both. I’m a lover of Mediterranean culture tho so I’d say Lisbon. The people there were super inviting, lots of fun things to do at night that aren’t even about straight up clubbing

nice, i did that when i went to egypt. did a 5-6 day cruise down the nile to aswan, then spent 5 days in cairo

Can you break down how you did it? What's ballpark total for everything? Is it all-inclusive (fuel, food, etc.) or everything separate? did yall put down a deposit months in advance or? How long yall get to stay at each stop before continuing

What credit cards do y'all use when traveling? My current cards have foreign transaction fees of 2.7% (American Express Blue Cash) and 3% (Citibank ThankYou Preferred).

get you a no foreign transaction fee card asap! Them transactions add up real quick

i didn't handle anything other than paying my part ended up being about $1300/person, yea, a deposit at time of booking then final payment was in march or april. beverages and breakfast + lunch are included. i'm staying an extra day in both dubrovnik & split, the other stops seems like a cruise style, probably dock in the morning, have the day to explore, then board again.

you could easily pay that, or much more, for a 7 day cruise with thousands of people, that's not a lot to charter a private yacht

it aint hurting my pockets so it's your accommodations for the trip plus it covers two meals a day, fuel, staff, and a captain

not sure how much you think chartering a yacht is, but it sure aint a $500 trip

Food. Drinks. captain + crew. Your own personal yacht in the middle of the méditerranéen with you and 5-10 of your peoples with your own itinerary. For less than $200/day. That is not bad at all
