Nairobi will always be one of my top favorite cities in the world. I know it too well..

MY MAN! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Why 7 days? Well, I want to also hit SA as well. I'm a Nigerian but have lived half my life in the US and the other half in Nigeria.

A big thing for me is to tour other African countries. I was leaning Kenya for two weeks but I want the trip to be long enough that I can say I did it but short enough that I have a yearning to go back.

I plan on staying in Westlands with an AirBnb. I've been saving up so that when I get on ground I'll be flush for the trip.

I already know about Ubers and such (I've lived in Nigeria so I know about how to move in these African streets).

Good to know the nightlife will be jumping. Pretty much plan to visit the sites during the day and then hit the clubs at night.

I already have two contacts of some people I can link up with while there. 1 is this dude in his late 20's that works for some Biotech firm. Dude is pretty caked up and is living the bachelor lifestyle so we'll see. Another is a co-workers friend. She seems cool as well but I'd rather see what other ladies are there.

I definitely plan on hitting the CBD for the crazy Nairobi nightlife I keep hearing about.

And man I love me some goat meat.

Getting more excited thing about it

:blessed:

I would advice you to at least hit two weekends in Nairobi. You wont be disappointed. One week will make you regret why you hadn't decided for another one more week. Then if you end up loving Nairobi, the next time you travel there.......you should hit the 2nd tier city called Mombasa. Its a coastal city that most of kenyans call it a sin city. Anything that happens there is not talked about. Just nothing but absolute nightlife madness. The women have an indian mix to them :takedat: but lets save that for another time.
CBD is great for gaming because its filled with young campus girls during the weekdays and weeknights. Thursday to Sunday........most people flock to Westlands and party till the sun shows up.

Oh!!! if you love Pawgs........tell your friend to take you to a smaller town in Nairobi called Karen. This is a very luxurious and expensive part of city. Filled with pawgs and high goverment officials. However, if you plan to party here, you can easily spend $100 by yourself a night.

I'm tempted to do 2 weeks but I also really want to see South Africa as well. I want to see the "Big 4" of Anglophone Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa).

I've heard of Mombasa as well. I'll save that for next time I go to Kenya. I know 2 weeks would be good but I'll just go very hard for one week.

Good to know the CBD is close to the Uni of Nairobi. Lol, I know it'll be a good time. I mean if the nightlife is jumping every day of the week then I think I should be good.

I'm good on PAWGs though. Don't care for em.

I understand. Btw CBD is not home to only one university.......I would say about 4 but University of Nairobi is the biggest. Go with an open mind, heavy pockets, and you will enjoy the city.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Of the ones I've done I'd definitely say Emirates first and then Air Asiana second.

British Airways is a solid option as is KLM. Don't really like Delta or United.
i'm bout to go to thailand again.. i got the choice of emirates but is the coach class worth it? like is it that much better than the main line joints (american, delta, etc)

Ohh don't even think about American, Delta or United. The American carriers don't even compare to Emirates.

Funny enough I used Emirates to Thailand.
DC-Dubai-Bangkok.

I highly recommend Emirates man.

Was a while back but it was a pretty comfortable flight.

Lol, I was jut drinking on the flight. People don't know this but you can get as many drinks as you like (within reason) on flights.

I had the Jameson and Jack D at 30,000 ft :wow:. It also helps pass time. Bangkok to DC was a long long flight and the alcohol helps me fall asleep.

I have never been to Asia but my boy just got back from a long tour across the whole of south east asia. This what he told me.......if you are making a trip to that part of the world coz of women, make sure you hit not only Thailand but Cambodia as well.
if you are into p4p, he mentioned outside the city of Phnom Penh there are small towns that are referred to as "Chicken Farms." They have girls between the ages of 18-22 where you get one for $20/day :merchant:
