Finally got to watch this and...well damn! This ish was dark! Some really great tension building and scares. It was Hereditary levels of overt disturbing imagery.
Told you! It was craaazy but I enjoyed the suspense. I actually thought that movie was better than Hereditary.

Hereditary was def the first thing to come to mind as I watched it. Similar vibe and more consistent with the scares, though I think Hereditary did some cool subtle stuff that was especially dope. I'll have to watch this one back because I have a feeling it had some bread crumbs I missed too...but it's a rough journey, I need a breather before going back in!

I watched a mini-series called the Good Lord Bird on Showtime. It's about John Brown the abolitionist behind the raid at Harper's Ferry. It's not horror, it's more drama with comedy intertwined but I was surprised to see it's a Blumhouse production...good one too.
Show is mad slept on.
Aside from Onion frontin like a chick shyt was off the hook!
Ethan def gonna rack up some awards for that shyt.
