Hereditary was def the first thing to come to mind as I watched it. Similar vibe and more consistent with the scares, though I think Hereditary did some cool subtle stuff that was especially dope. I'll have to watch this one back because I have a feeling it had some bread crumbs I missed too...but it's a rough journey, I need a breather before going back in!

I am torn. Unless Argento or the dude who did Return is going to be involved or his wife or some understudy direct I don't want to see these made. I fear they will just be turned into fast food garbage.

Finished watching season 1 - the most disturbing and depressing network tv series that I’ve seen this year. If Sleepy Hollow and Silence of the Lambs was combined with Jack the Ripper in 1800s New York City, evil empire - sick twisted demonic underground rings and ish. This was too much
