I rewatched Haunt via the Joe Bob special...That's gonna be a yearly Halloween staple for me. I really think in terms of building tension and then paying it off well, Haunt is one of the best recent examples. It actually seems to be helped along by the fact that the main plot is pretty simplistic; just focused on building tension and scaring you. I'm gonna do Hack-O-Lantern at some point today/tonight.
