Being that it’s Halloween season,
I’m reminiscing-and the sticky had me reliving the 2018-2019 days of old. I get like that sometimes- cant a girl have her moment
:to::mjcry:
we went from 100 pages to almost 900 *group hug

And I’m bored - Quarantine. There’s movies that I missed as I read through old pages. Now that I have more time on my hands
:mjgrin:
No judgement here haha. It is wild that we were only at like 200 pages 2 years ago

Watched 30 days of night.

wasn’t really a big fan of it.

best part of it was Josh in the lead role. Everything else was eh. The main boss vampire was mid.
My only real gripe with 30 Days of Night is that I am not a fan of my vamps being all animalistic like the ones in the movie were. I like my vampires more urbane with personality.

And did you know they made a sequel? It was so awful. They made the character of Stella (the Josh Hartnett character's wife) the lead but Melissa George wasn't down with reprising her role so they recast her with Kiele Sanchez which was a major downgrade.

Yeah I’m not even gonna watch that shyt.

I hated the animalistic side of the vampires too. Making sounds like the zombies off the walking dead and shyt.

The biggest thing that annoyed me was how the movie made it seem like the dude in the jail cell was gonna have a big role in the movie and he only lasted like 20 mins

The only way that I like vampires is in Underworld and Dracula Untold. I bought the entire Underworld Series as the DVD box set. Kate Beckinsale and Rhona Mira were the ish in these movies. There’s supposed to be an Underworld 6 but Kate refuses to sign on to reprise her role so neither will I as far as watching. They might as will end it at 5 if that’s the case

Can we discuss watching horror films with a group of people vs watching them alone? I feel like unless you're watching a horror comedy a group of people seem to ruin a good serious horror film. In groups people handle fear or anxiety by making jokes or not taking things seriously, especially when we're just at someone's crib smoking an drinking beers and not in a theater setting. However when you're alone there are no external outlets to drain your anxiety or fear and you can take it serious and be immersed and truly horrified.
