Every time I try to catch Black Christmas, I get the other remake. Still haven't found a good copy of the Lighthouse either which I'm dying to peep. I need some Christmas break horror...def gonna rewatch Rare Exports. That's an instant Christmas Horror classic in my book.

Epix Orders Small Screen Stephen King Adaptation “Jerusalem’s Lot” With Adrien Brody Set to Star
Epix Orders Small Screen Stephen King Adaptation “Jerusalem’s Lot” With Adrien Brody Set to Star

Jerusalem’s Lot the series is set in the 1850s. It follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.

The Filardi brothers, who also serve as showrunners, executive produce with De Line via his De Line Productions, which produces with Epix.

“This series is an intense, absolutely terrifying reimagining of classic gothic horror,” Wright said. “We can’t wait to work with the exceptional team of Donald De Line and Jason and Peter Filardi, along with our phenomenal lead actor, Adrien Brody…and of course, when it comes to horror, it doesn’t get any better or more masterful than Stephen King.”

Godfather of Harlem, now this. EPIX May give the majors competition now.

Behind You
Was watching a review of The Black Mountain Side and the host mentioned the fact that this like the Thing was an all male group who were isolated. I Wondered how the Thing would have turned out if the entire outpost were female? Anyone have an idea?

We'd probably get a more subtle paranoia and far less of the dikk measuring contests between the women than what we got with the men in The Thing.
Probably would have more of an easier time getting cooperation once shyt hit the fan than among the men in The Thing. Like I doubt anyone would have ended up tied to a chair in order to do the blood test.
The closest thing we have to it is Annihilation.
