It is. It's like a gonzo horror mash. The first two seasons are like Hellboy style horror the 3rd is lighter in horror season 4 is horror/thriller season 5 more crime .

Yeah fam, I've been trying to hype it too. The Thing inspiration is blatant but they managed to live up to that standard imo (minus the visual effects of course).

I saw an HD rip circulating online already somehow but I didn’t get around to watching it. I might out of morbid curiosity though
wanted to see it this coming weekend but that probably won’t happen. I might drop in on Christmas Eve during the afternoon

It takes about 2-4 weeks for the good HD 1080 and 720 downloads to circulate. Especially with the more popular movies. I hate watching the low quality, blur shaky cam- rather just wait- watching the "mvmoviehub" flash across the screen all random in the middle of the movie. No thanks. I don't mind the rips with the Chinese subtitle translations at the bottom of the screen but all that other stuff is unwatchable.
