This. Like real life-long horror fans will empathize with the killers bc movies in the 80s through early 2000s, always towed that line or blurred boundaries. that movie was racist af though. at least Jigsaw was an equal opportunity killer bc those people that he targeted were void, selfish and evil to their core. Most of them I wanted to see go out like they did lol. Kearsey was just out here targeting black people and latinos in all types of stereotypical situations. Dude was driving to the hood and profiling people specifically to look for trouble. movie spawned real life white boy copycat vengeance killers like Bernard Goetz out here; thinking he could take out a whole subway car full of kids just for looking at him wrong.

Right, they lacked any empathy in themselves, so why should we care what their punishment is.
