I noticed they always try to censor the Asian horror remakes for American audiences. Ruins the atmosphere of the movie.

That’s a good question. I guess they no longer became an international “fad” so to speak or maybe they maxed out in a saturated market during the era.

All of the movies Ringu, Grudge, Shutter, Battle Royale, The Eye - etc , there was an influx of great Asian horror then add to that all the sequels.

Haven’t seen it. Might watch it tonight since she mentioned it.

What I will give the thumbs down to is Wounds. Had high hopes for it and yeah didn’t work for me. Just too slow and took forever to get to the point. I’m all for a slow burn but it’s not an interesting journey
