The title had "color" in it.

Look up Dario Argento. The guy who directed Suspira (the original) and similar flicks like the bird with the crystal plumage and deep red.

Also look up blood and black lace.

Giallo is called that because they’re stories that used to be printed on yellow paper. Giallo is Italian for yellow. And they’re basically slashers with mysteries. So scream? That’s influenced by Giallo. As is Friday the 13th and even Halloween to an extent. But it’s normally a masked or cloaked figure wearing a black glove and uses a knife.
