Yes... and those are the passable movies. I’ve watched at least 80% of their content years ago. The remaining percent of their horror selection are either Netflix “original” horror which are about as scary as a Lifetime movie or pure trash unwatchable. They had a few diamonds in the rough but that’s few and far between. Better off with a different streaming service. Netflix is not my first choice for horror anymore.
They recently had one where the Asian girl was abducted buy some obsessed former coworker of a husband. Pure garbage. I felt like I was wearing a tampon watching that bs.

I think a year ago they had one where some unknown man killed people who did open houses. More pure trash

hella international
Anybody else have the tendency of rewatching the same films on streaming services? I've watched Herzog's Nosferatu at least once a week on Prime Video for what has felt like most of the year.

I wrote all of that just to say I love that film.

I watched two horror movies yesterday: Incident in a Ghostland and Tone-Deaf

Incident in a Ghostland
I was initially feeling this movie until it took a hard left turn from supernatural horror into being just non-stop torture porn involving a slowful giant and his crossdresser bestie sexually assaulting 2 teenage white girls for over an hour.
Trash is too nice off a word for this.

Tone-Deaf
This movie featured a really good performance as a nutjob by Robert Patrick where you could see he was having the time of his life. However that was not nearly enough to make this movie actually be a good movie. There were these cringe-worthy moments where the characters would break the 4th Wall to do these monologues about how shytty Millenials and Baby Boomers are that were so so bad.
Not really worth a watch unless you are in a Robert Patrick fan club or something.

So I basically wasted 3 hours of my life yesterday.

I just started going back through the thread and I am astonished that so many of you liked Incident In A Ghostland.
:roger00: I am so disappointed in all of you.

I'm with you on that one fam. I posted about it a while back,

you get a psychological horror where you're often disoriented or wondering what's legit and what isn't. That said...to pull off twists and surprises, you gotta let things sink in and this didn't pull that off. Most bits felt rushed and disoriented bit felt more like poor storytelling than an intended impact. The murderers were just not scary either. I like what the creators were going for tbh, but they needed to tell a more complete story and let things resonate. It's not the worst popcorn flick if you just want a quick, fairly intense experience. The opening scares are actually pretty good but the intro is where all the genuine potential stays imo.

Told you it was better than expected. Yeah, this one cut deep. Especially when I realized what was really going on with her detachment.

This was a decent movie- it wasn't your regular run of the mill type of horror movie and the plot twist was flawless with the execution. You can save your disappointment sir ...I liked it and I'm sticking to my decision...

Now i dont if this is a some sort of staple with the folks that made this and Martyrs.

Women certainly do be getting their asses WHOOPED in these movies.
