Dammit. And you’re advice has been 10/10 so far,
Seriously @Jello Biafra their big takeaway from Halloween is if you bring back the original star then you’ve got a hit. The press release for the movie was so damn transparent in them just seeing the money Halloween made and wanting to make their own version. All while forgetting I spit on your grave isn’t as beloved of a flick and trying to make that movie in 2019 is tough.
Like I said before, unless it’s done the way revenge is done, it’s moot. Revenge updated that sub genre and made it relevant to where we are now. A 70s exploitation flick that’s still trying to be a 70s exploitation flick isn’t the move.
Also, no diss to the main actress, but she ain’t Jamie lee Curtis

And honestly the reboot movie from 2010 was pretty bad with the sequel to that being even worse.
Yeah the well has run dry.
I have no clue what her name is. I feel bad about that but it’s real. I’m sure fans of the movie do so it’s a selling point for them but to the rest of us?

Blue My Mind was great.
They compare it to RAW but i thought this was better.

I didn't realize "blue my mind" was subtitled. I had to put that one on hold, until I can it give it undivided attention.
Trying to read watch without distractions is not the move.
I had some hopes for "Chambers" (Netflix) going on - slowest lead up ever and too much unnecessarily atmospheric tension. I'm only on episode 3 - not a good look so far.
