These are sequels that are in the works for 2019-interesting list. 2019 seems like remake season:

1. 47 Meters Down: The Next Chapter
2. IT: Chapter 2
3. A Quiet Place 2 (announced)
4. A Nightmare on Elm Street (pre-production) reboot of 1984 and 2010 remake
5. Don't Breathe 2 (announced)
6. Happy Death Day 2
7. I Know What You Did Last Summer ( announced)
8. Jacob's Ladder
9. Light's Out 2
10. Pet Sematary
11. The Conjuring 3 (announced)
12. Grudge (filming)
13. Wolf Creek 3 (pre-production)
14. World War Z -2 (announced)

Good idea for this Halloween would be to watch the originals of sequels or the originals of remakes.

Out of this list, these are the only ones im looking forward to :francis:
What??! That's it.. ? i'm happy about the list. The only ones that I will probably pass on is World War Z and Grudge. and I haven't seen the original Jacob's Ladder yet. Quiet Place was just okkkkk. Tired of the whole zombie genre and Grudge wasnt that great the first time with Sarah Michelle Gellar. 47 Meters Down was a lot better than I expected especially with that ending twist. Wolf Creek 2 was just as good as Wolf Creek 1, so it will probably make WC3 worth at least a watch. Last Summer - interesting concept to remake; I watched the first one multiple times - when the teen scream resurgence was going on- Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Philippe, Sara Michelle (that's class ish).. Nightmare on Elm Street- as long as they remake the original, and don't go the way of Jason X or the weird Nighmare Pt.. whatever, where Freddy morphs into a bug. Pet Cemetary- most def... not a lot they can change with that anyway, as long as they don't make it over the top jump scary.

And the rest on the list, I figured they would make a Pt. 2 bc of the storylines, imo, performed overall in terms of audience reception/expectation if not, box office.

Fincher is directing World War Z 2 so I'm down on principle

Anyone remember this?

On a side note Julie Carmen used to be sexy

I googled what she look like nowadays and not gonna lie, she don't look too bad but the first thing that popped in my head was a future @stomachlines thread about her.

Watched "Pontypool"....:ld:

The first hour or so is one of the best set ups in horror history. After they introduce a new character (no spoilers, it's a doctor) the movie dives off a cliff into wackness. It almost seems like they had two different people write the movie....that character didn't fit at all with what came before it and even ignoring that when the movie tries to explain what's been going on....:francis:

Horror writers need to remember the old Lovecraft quote about fear of the unknown being the strongest type of fear....horror is the only genre where it's sometimes best not to explain or overthink things and people still somehow drop the ball.

Fred.
