I can strongly recommend „Wishmaster“ to everyone in here. Great late 90s horror movie, Dope vibe, cool idea/theme, lots of horror movie icons before & behind the camera & Andrew Divoff is 10/10 as the Villain.

Whats your opinion on it ?
Wishmaster brings the fukkery.
Always fukkin up peoples wishes and shyt, knowing damn well he knows what they be saying but taking them shyts literally.

Yeah, the concept is dope and how the kills are executed is :russ:
The opening scene where dude wishes to be stunned by miracles and he unleashes absolute hell on the people in the palace :merchant:

Behind You
Dude that played Wishmaster had the ultimate villain face tho!
Andrew Divoff is one of those guys that the second he shows up on screen you know he is a bad guy.

First movie was dope, shyt got wacker as the series went on. Same as most horror franchises. :manny:

That series needs a reboot. Really dope concept.

Summer of '84 was pretty meh. Ending was a bit of a surprise, but I found it a bit boring overall. The wife liked it more than I did.

Bottom line: was it good or bad?

It was SUPER camp. The whole thing is from gore to low budget effects to the actual plot is played up for comedic effect. At times it works and at others it got over the top for me. The missing element for me as a die hard fan of the originals was the signature puppet personalities. This one has a small army of puppets instead of just a handful and while they all have their own designs, none of them stood out the way the original crew did where it felt like they interacted with each other and had different temperaments. I was disappointed, but I was obsessed with the throwbacks.

Is that the wish with Robert England talking about the Titanic beforehand? I loved the first couple of Wishmaster flicks...great creature design, messed up ways to flip the wishes and it fit those 90's horror styles. I'd take a reboot of Wishmaster over the "be careful what you wish for" horrors that have happened since...Wish Upon is one of the "so bad it's good" title holders of recent history.

No I meant the opening scene which is set in ancient persia, that scene where he also unleashes hell on that party Englunds character throws is at the end
