Jason Blum did a Twitter Q&A yesterday and said there’s a good chance blumhouse picks up more established horror franchises. He name dropped alien, scream, and Friday the 13th of course. Doesn’t mean he’s getting them but he wants them. And with Disney not sure if they’re continuing any R rated shyt, it’d be good for someone to scoop up alien

Rewinding back to the Exorcist TV show discussion; I was on the Fangoria Twitter account and they posted the hospital scene from the Exorcist 3 movie which made me recall how they did a spot on recreation of it in Season 2 of the Exorcist show.

I needed the tv version to be a tad longer. It always felt like it was just a bit too short but I get why. its a tv show with a set run time

I agree...one of the best things about the movie version is the anticipation of something about to happen and how the nurse is the focal point of the scene but in the background you see all the other people slowly leaving the shot so that by the end she is all alone and ripe for whatever horrible thing is about to happen.

probably considered quasi "horror", but Upgrade is definitely worth watching. Last 1/3 would probably be considered close to a horror movie.
