I liked both seasons too!.. but I guess we were the only few that did.. :( disappointed that it didn't get renewed. I liked the first season with Geena Davis better than the second season with the kids in the foster home. The first one was more straightforward with the story and background; I think they were going for more shock value in the 2nd series, with the reveal of the little girl with the pillow case mask and the possession of the foster dad -multiple plot attempts, too much for one season, they could have made one of the stories into a season 3.
Season 2 definitely felt like they were going for broke because they didn't feel too secure that they would get a third season but I still enjoyed.
In both seasons they were able to get the feel of a horror movie in every episode of the show and most of these horror TV shows fail spectacularly at that.

Hulu horror movie selections are not good at all, too time consuming to try to find something halfway decent. I use hulu for comedies, UK shows or news type programs. But they do have a few watchable horror series shows - The Exorcist and the new Stephen King mini-series. I use Amazon Prime video primarily for horror (shudder, hbo, showtime, and cinemax add ons) and Netflix has some 'recently added' but I've already seen those multiple times (The Strangers, Emelie, Chernobyl Diaries..etc).

edit - The Enfeld Haunting on Hulu was also interesting.

I feel you 100% after my trip through their selection. The Midnight Man is the only one I might suggest to heads and that's for laughs. It's got Robert Englund and the old woman from Insidious hamming it up surrounded by awful actors and a plot that could work as a horror satire if they didn't take it too seriously. That ish framed as a laugh might actually hold up. The rest of the options were TRASH though. I gave Castle Rock's first episode a look and it wasn't bad so I'm gonna have to peep another couple of episodes to see if I get hooked. I never peeped the Exorcist either so yall got me ready to check that out even if the second season sounds lighter. I need to check the Prime selection next time I have downtime on the weekend.

We getting a sequel to TRAIN TO BUSAN!:krs:

A possible sequel to 'Train To Busan,' the 2016 zombie action film, is currently in its early planning stages, a representative for the film's director Yeon Sang Ho confirmed on August 13th.

The film will revisit the same zombie virus that was seen in the original movie, except this time the focus will be expanded to the entire Korean peninsula.

"We are planning to begin filming in the first half of next year," the source told the press. "We still have not cast any actors, so we are still preparing a lot of different things." They added that the director does not plan to bring back any of the actors from the last film.

Suggestions on classics I must revisit and/or watch for the first time? I can’t find anything new to keep my attention (although suggestions for new shyt also welcome). Open to all genres except torture porn/extreme gore.

Well what have you watched recently?
Insidious last key
Predator 1 and 2
Predator vs alien
Alien
Bye bye man
Some omen spoof on nextflix
Quiet place
47 meters down
Descent 2
The final girls or whatever
Some random flicks on Netflix...can’t remember all of them off top, but creep and Gerald’s game were two for sure
A lot of the popular films from 2017 (except rings and it comes at night...was that any good?)

I’m probably missing some, but that’s a start

It comes at night didn’t do it for me. Wasn’t bad but was boring for the most part, which is worse than being bad.

Okay next question lol what do you have to watch stuff on? Not trying to send you to a torrent

Netflix, a Comcast login (hbo, showtime, and stars available), Kodi, Prime (wouldn’t mind paying to rent if it truly is good)

Invasion of the body snatchers from 72
The descent
Tourist trap
The prowler
Blood and black lace
The changeling just dropped on blu ray and is worth a blind buy if you’ve never seen it

I’ve seen the descent, but I’m gonna prioritize the bolded, the first two are always mentioned as greats, and after reading the synopsis for the tourist trap, sounds like campy fukkery :heh: thanks.

I usually watch most of my horror off Prime - Not sure if all these are on prime but here's a short list:

The Grudge
Rec
The Others
Identity
Vacancy
Stuck (not really horror imo, thriller/drama)
The Hills Have Eyes
Wrong Turn
The Reef
Ils (English title is "Them" French horror movie, subtitled, but still a decent watch)
Sinister (the first one)
Wolf Creek (torture porn-ish)
Contracted
Orphan
Happy Death Day
The Ritual
The Fog (1980)
V/H/S
Perfect Host
Ring - (the first one)
(avoid Saw, Hostel )or Texas Chainsaw Massacre if you're not into gory type horror)

Netflix-
The Conjuring
Cabin Fever
Backcountry
The Strangers
Emelie
Chernobyl Diaries
6 Souls
Tremors
Cube Zero
The New Daughter
Satanic
Friend Request

That movie dragged on and on - anticlimactic.. I didn't watch til the end. So what exactly "came at night"... ?? or was it just their imagination? I couldn't sit through it.
