Drag me to Hell..yes. But that wasn’t comedic to me. Thinner by Stephen king is considered comedy horror? Hmmm.. I guess it depends on the humor aspects of it.

I was never really a zombie movie fan so I would be biased about the Living Dead series. But for some reason I like the show Z Nation from the syfy channel and that’s comedic horror zombie.

Return of the living dead is a different type of beast than Romreo's dead movies. It's straight comedy horror and if you like Z Nation, you can probably get into that. Killer Klowns from Outer Space is on Hulu and Amazon right now

It got dumped on critically and it came and went from theaters. shyt I think the studio dumped it actually. So I'm not sure if it ever had a chance to truly find its audience.

I remember I saw it on Friday afternoon when I got off work early and it was just me in this big ass movie theater.

You have to watch Return of the Living Dead.
It's not like a regular zombie flick...the zombies in Return have personalities and talk and stuff. It is a great movie.

The Frighteners definitely falls into that comedy/horror category where it just drops the horror at one point (the flashbacks in the insane asylum especially) and embraces the fact that it is a horror movie.
