Agreed. Frustrating movie because I wanted to like it, and I built it up in my mind more than it needed to be. Then the whole “based on a true story” . The mother’s role was unrealistic to me to the point of distraction. Veronica would come running in, all anxious, to her mother’s restaurant saying something along the lines of “mom!!!! , I’m feeling like I’m being watched, I’m terrified, we need help, we need you... I’m scared, help me mom, pleeease!!’ The mothers response- “here’s some food from the restaurant kitchen, take your little brother and sister home and go eat, you’ll be fine, I have to work” Like what!!????

I think it's just slept on. It didn't do well at theatres I never see any body talk about it

I love that movie. Caught it on Hulu a couple years ago and couldn't believe it was that slept on or just slipped under my radar. I remember when it came out in theaters but it wasn't out long enough for me to even think about going to see it. Damn shame.
It got dumped on critically and it came and went from theaters. shyt I think the studio dumped it actually. So I'm not sure if it ever had a chance to truly find its audience.

Drag me to Hell..yes. But that wasn’t comedic to me. Thinner by Stephen king is considered comedy horror? Hmmm.. I guess it depends on the humor aspects of it.
I was never really a zombie movie fan so I would be biased about the Living Dead series. But for some reason I like the show Z Nation from the syfy channel and that’s comedic horror zombie.
