The third act of House of 1000 Corpses ruins the movie tbh. Every thing was perfect until all the fukkery happened at the end. All those mother fukkers in the water and living in that tunnel makes no sense to me.

I don’t know what it is about older horror movies but they have a tendency to know how to actually be scary where some horror movies today are horror without being scary.

OG Carrie shyts on the 2013 version so bad. The thing is the story is identically the same lol. Like the score for the original is insane and adds to the emotion of every scene. Carrie and the mom acted their asses off. shyt felt way darker and the remake, though a decent watch, felt lifeless

That’s how I feel bout the pet Sematary movies but worse. I can’t even watch the remake with how bad it is. The original isn’t perfect but boy it’s scary af.

And of course Clive Barker my favorite author. I got Kabal (Nightbreed) the book and I’ve read it a few times and of course I’ve seen nightbreed a lot.

I’m saving my personal favs for the later entries
