Enjoy. This movie is supposed to hav e inspired Resident Evil

So, this is a pretty cool bit of trivia, but Sweet Home was an old NES survival horror game. It was pretty influential on the RE game design, most notably, the way you walk through doors...

So, it seems like this movie is inspired by the game that inspired RE. I didn't even know there was a movie, so many thanks for the share!

Technically, a well-marketed horror movie dropped this past weekend. But word of mouth has been embarrassingly bad for Imaginary. It's so bad that there hasn't been a peep about it in this thread. I genuinely think the hate for Imaginary sounds harsher than Night Swim. I thought to give Night Swim a chance before I hated it, but I'm not sure I'll be giving Imaginary the time.

Blumhouse is finally catching scrutiny for the crap they've been rushing out. Granted, this isn't new, but it feels louder and more prevalent than ever in the post Halloween-Ends era.

As long as the director/crew of that last PoS ’movie’ has absolutely NOTHING to do with it, I think people would be open. That was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I don’t even consider it as part of canon the Halloween movies. Moustapha Akkad must be spinning

Forgot about Imaginary. Trailer looked pretty good. Is it that bad?? I f with Blumhouse, though was surprised they stole the idea for Malignant as someone posted earlier in this thread.

There was a thread on Dreadit last night talking about their fall-off lately and I agree. 7 years ago, I was damn near jumping up with joy at the idea of Blumhouse taking on Michael Myers. Now it's  anytime I hear about them wanting to get their hands on the likes of Jason Voorhees or Freddy Krueger.
