I just got back from the theater and that ish was messed up. My favorite scares are the one's that make you squirm in your seat rather than jump. This is chalk full of 'em. I've gotta give it time and a rewatch, but I think it's my favorite horror of the year (albeit, during a year that's lacked much standout horror imo).

Yeah, this list is written by an AI that stole my horror movie feelings exactly. I've seen every movie on that list, and they're a bunch of my absolute favorite obscure joints. My only gripes are that some of the movies get the props they deserve. I'd pull The Witch, The Ritual, and Creep to replace with more obscure titles....maybe Harppon, Must Love Cats, and Howling Village (to add a foreign horror gem to the mix).
This thread actually put me on to Dead End a year or two back. Lin Shaye's such a goddamned superstar. Horror queen!

I'll check out some more movies from that list. I've heard of them just never got to them. I've seen The Witch and the Descent before. I think The Descent, at least online, gets recognition. I'd maybe replace it with 30 Days of Night. People forget that exist.

I saw "Talk To Me" this morning. I'll give it a 7/10. To me they nailed 1st two acts but the 3rd act got sloppy in terms of the plot.
