I checked Inmate Zero out last night.
The concept was cool but the film itself was limited by budget and less than stellar direction which showed in every scene. This is another one of those low budget horror flicks that I would love to see remade by a studio with money and better talent.
This scene did crack me up though. :mjlol:

All in all they tried and it was entertaining enough so I give 'Inmate Zero' 2.5 out of 4 Gun-Totin' Dr. Loomis'

the budget holds a lot of these back
but
you just know in about 2-3 years ,
the hot new it director is basically going to make a big budget remake of this with some plot points of similar films mixed in using a different location and slightly modified plot,
so you can't tell what it is in the trailers...
and its going to hyped as the great horror movies of our time

And I'll be in the theater like Bane...when he exposed Batman's a$$.

"theatricality and deception,
powerful agents to the uninitiated,
but we are initiated... aren't we Bruce"

Pissed off because i can't enjoy the shiny new version because i saw the low budget version they basically jacked to make it. :russ: :deadrose:

Oh yeah, Brandon hasn’t really missed yet for me. I didn't like it more than Possessor, but I did come away having a better time with it than his father's film from the past year. While the story wasn’t as focused as I would’ve liked it to be, the visuals and performances especially kept me engaged throughout. The movie still hasn’t left my mind yet, which lets me know it was well worth a watch.

I’m about to peep Caveat (2020) right now though. Saw one still and…yeah, this looks like something I can’t watch at any other time besides the twilight hours. Read one review where someone mentioned it has a moment akin to the diner scene in Mulholland Drive. Immediately sold me. It’s time to get fukkin’ traumatized. :banderas:
100%. so many elements of this movie are still swirling around my head two days after seeing it. Almost made up for me buying into the hype of Barbarian / Skinamarink recently. This had less hype and lower expectations and I was very pleasantly surprised

Posted in the sci fi thread as well

Japanese horror action sci fi joints
re watched these a little while ago.

Gantz and its sequel :banderas:

:myman: Loved those movies. I thought it ended better than the manga too. If you haven't yet, check out Gantz: 0 on netflix, it's CGI animated tho. The director of the movies also did the Alice In Borderland show.

Realm far from here
I have a new idea for this thread:

In keeping with the concept of changing horror movie premises to fit new “modernization” standards for the current day consumers.

1. There’s a new Final Destination movie coming in 2023; and this time Death does not have a design; said design includes a Glock with a switch

2. The Ring 4 will actually be a Ring security system. If Samara appears in the doorbell camera - the victim now has 3 days to live and for whatever random reason- the Ring executions only happen in Staten Island.

— to be continued, all participants feel free to add to this thread until March 10, 2023.
