Not going to lie, the marshmallow sweater in The Menu was genius and I fell out when the female publicist agent who was with John Leguizamo at his table started tasting the Chocolate hat.
It was ok a bit silly for me but I did get the whole grip of cults type of thing. I don't understand why no one else just asked for a good ol cheeseburger That mofukka looked good manYou must have been at the part where Chef takes his first descent into madness - with the story about his childhood
What did you think about the movie?
There’s no comedy in this Evil Dead Rises, bThis is Ash Evil Dead??
There’s no comedy in this Evil Dead Rises, b
But if you like Ash v Evil Dead- this series is an alternative.
It’s silly asf binge watched it on Hulu awhile back
Wolf of Snow Hollow - haha I remember watching that; I think you and I watched it around the same time frame. Lead character was the sheriff right .. dude was acting like a certified piece of shyt to everyoneThe Possession and the Wolf of Snow Hollow just hit Shudder. I've never seen the Possession, so I'm pretty excited to check it out because it's gotten some hype as a cult-classic and also Zulawski was inspired to create it after his own divorce. The Wolf of Snow Hollow is a good, movie with a bit of mystery and a funny lead character.
Watched the Wolf of Snow Hollow for the first time...good movie! I laughed at the sheriff's freakouts without realizing I was getting more and more invested in them catching the damned thing.
The sheriff started to have that mental downhill spiral …. Spazzing at everyone, showed up at that AA meeting drunk, deputy gave him a gift basket and he was like “Thanks, but you’re still fired”— dude was beyond obsessed only to end up finding out who the killer was by accident, after all that effort - sarcastic a—hole the entire movie
Checked out The Wolf of Snow Hollow this morning.
I liked it. It was darkly humorous and blended the mystery aspect of a whodunit with the horror aspect very well. Plus I'm a sucker for an entertaining werewolf movie; those furry b*stards don't get nearly the love I think they deserve in this genre anymore. Werewolves are like the redheaded stepchildren of horror now.
25 Days of Christmas Horror
Day Eleven: The Wolf of Snow Hollow
The Wolf Of Snow Hollow does a great job of blending so many genres (horror, mystery, thriller, comedy etc.) all while maintaining a darkly humorous vibe and a lot of that is thanks to the talents of writer/director/star Jim Cummings.
Cummings as director notably does a wonderful job at alternating between the different tones in this movie without it ever feeling like a jarring shift which is a hard thing to do in films that straddle multiple genres.
And the twist is one I didn't see coming but that I enjoyed.
I give 'The Wolf of Snow Hollow' 3 out of 4 Gun Totin' Santa Loomis'
HBO max and Netflix are this month (it’s about time) - what’s this Doom Patrol series on hbo and does anyone know if this is worth watching?
