It’s all jokes and games until a creator that you like starts getting delisted. Cult fans know whatsup- fukkkkk that. Like I said, they try to under cut him because he’s anti-establishment and his movies end up setting trends/breaking lists. I’m calling it now- laugh all you want

I liked X, but I have to be the minority in thinking it did not deserve a prequel AND a sequel. :deadrose: Other movies take years to receive just one sequel this movie already has two new projects within the same year of its release.

------------

I watched Tusk after seeing everyone's reactions to the film.
I shouldn't have taken those edibles :gucci:.

And then I watched that Twins Peak movie right after

:gucci:

What an excellent horrible trip I went on :blessed:

The story behind Pearl getting greenlit is actually kinda dope. They were filming X in New Zealand because that was the one of the few places open at that point in the pandemic, and upon arrival everyone had to spend 2 weeks in quarantine.

So Ti West took the downtime and wrote the Pearl script with Mia Goth's input. Their plan was to write a film that could be shot at the same location and with the same cast and crew, as long as everyone was willing to stay longer (and with everywhere else shutdown, it probably was an easy sell to the cast and crew). So he wrote a cheap film that they could shoot right behind X, and A24 greenlit the script before the first film was even shot.

I'm not sure if the sequel fits into this set-up as well. But I thought that was a dope way to get two films for the price of one at a time when almost everyone else was pausing production.

Tusk + Twin Peaks on edibles is...yikes. Just add Mullholland Drive and the cypher's complete :mjlol:.

The results of my Netflix “The Munsters” Twitter campaign?? You ask. 🤓
Thank y’all for expressing your concern and show of coli thread support.

The Munsters is not being released on Netflix in September anymore. It’s going straight to DVD/Digital Media first. It’s not going to Netflix until later this year.

“The Munsters will be coming out on September 27, but surprisingly, it’s not going to be on Netflix…at least not initially. The film is actually going to hit Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD first, and it’ll go to Netflix sometime later in the year.”

I filed all of those complaints for nothing.
😩

Let me pre-empt this by saying Shut up, Be QUIET @Lootpack aka
@Jello Biafra the Jr. Don’t reply to me -just act like my breakdown didn’t exist this AM.

Y’all do know why Rob Zombie’s movie is going straight to dvd /digital media first right??
:jbhmm:
Netflix has the lowest percentage of satisfied subscribers based on the value they receive from the service, according to a recent survey from Whip Media. That suggests that in just a couple years, Netflix may have gone from one of the best values in entertainment to one of the worst.

satisfaction

The percentage of Netflix subscribers that said they were satisfied with the streaming service fell from 90% in 2021 to 80% in 2022. That put it behind the other streaming services in the survey: Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO Max, Disney's Disney+, and Hulu.

:sas2:

Let’s not act like this isn’t RZ making a tactical decision.

:mjlol: I swear, I'm rooting for the Munsters to surprise. I loved that ish as a kid. But I won't lie. The news is not looking good.
@Lootpack stop corrupting @storyteller . You’re negatively influencing an excellent thread contributor and normally unbiased poster; I don’t appreciate you sending negative vibes his way.
