Behind You
first hour drags like a lifetime movie with nudity
last 30 minutes is actually suspenseful & has some decent kill effects

I hated Girlhouse mostly because of how terrible the killer was.
His origin story was lame as hell (some mean girls tricked him into dropping trow and then laughed at his tiny penis...big whoop) and the way he would be almost on top of these women yet they never noticed his presence was just dumb.
I mean he's a 300 pound computer nerd in a living doll mask and fright wig so how the fukk do you not notice him?

Look at this shyt:

:ehh: me watching The Witch

:blessed: me watching Tremors 2, John Carpenter's Vampires, and Ghost of Mars

I need more good "bad" horror movies to watch. Tremors 2 did everything right for a sequel. It followed or invented the 90s sequel formula. Gonna go watch another A24 film first.

I bought this sweet ass shirt yesterday. Who's the dude to the right of Hellraiser? With the hook. He's the only one I can't identify.

I decided to watch Midsommar and I put it on pause to write my thoughts so far. I'm really enjoying it.

Nothing but spoilers below.

Did they just make the damn Swedish Festival Massacre:pachaha:. I was about to say this isn't a horror movie more like an eerie movie until this point but :whew:. There no way you make a horror genre movie and include a scene with someone dieing to a hammer/mallet to the head, then drag them away, while someone is wearing another person's face and not have it be an homage to TCM. I was like damn a white boy can piss on all their dead family but the brother has to be the first to die:gucci: then saw the Leatherface:blessed:

I'm thinking the movies themes are about death and tradition. Im loving the little clues they're leaving for the film. I don't really understand that weird ass painting with the public hair but I think it's a courting tradition. The Swedish guy's sister did it to the boyfriend and put her period blood in his drink. Everyone else was drinking lemonade and he was drinking that V8 mangoo. Another red flag was the London Swedish guy said he was dating the one girl and the girl was like lol we weren't dating. Then the boyfriend leaves without her after watching those people jump off the cliff:comeon:
. I know they said they bring outsiders in. I also think the Swedish guy set up the boyfriend to be with his sister. The sister was looking at herself in the mirror like she was nervous, like B Rabbit wiping off mom's spaghetti before he goes out to battle.

Yup just like TCM after the hammer to the head, I was glued to the screen like :mjtf: :dwillhuh: :gucci: :scust: :russ: :lupe:watching pure fukkery unfold. Only thing I don't get is why Florence Pugh was smiling. It can't be as simple as watching her boyfriend that cheated on her die. Maybe the thing was a pagan ritual to bring the black one back and it took over her body idk.

I think the smile was proof the cult recruitment was complete. They basically took someone that had just lost everyone and was desperate for acceptance (which her BF and his friends had no interest in offering), and they set up everything to bring her in. They alienated her further and rewarded her any time that she participated in their cultural practices. The crazy part is it was effective enough that hella people had "the boyfriend is the true villain" takes, but he's just a typical a-hole...dude didn't deserve ALL THAT.

There’s A LOT of hidden references, symbols, visuals and messages in that movie that make the movie even more eerie after you see it. I’ve been reading different articles I’ll post them up as I get time. I think that I was the only one in this thread who appreciated this movie so I had no one to share them with until ……now

Have you watched The Collection and The Collector??
And I would say the Victor Crowley/Hatchet franchise.

Not the most popular or liked movies but they fit the bill of being highly underrated horror movies IMO.
