'Fever Dream' Trailer Promises a Chilling Netflix Movie About Motherhood and Nightmares
Netflix has released the chilling trailer and poster for Fever Dream (Distancia de Rescate), the upcoming horror film inspired by the novel of the same name by Argentinian author Samanta Schweblin. Fever Dream will debut in selected theaters on October 6 and on the streaming platform on October 13.
The trailer introduces us to Amanda, a woman who has just moved out to a new home with her children. Soon after getting to her new house, Amanda (Maria Valverde) meets a neighbor named Carola (Dolores Fonzi), a seemingly innocent woman who guards a dark secret. Just like Amanda, Carola is a mother, but her son David (Emilio Vodanovich) seems to have supernatural powers. The trailer also teases David might be dead, and while the mystery will only be revealed after the movie’s release, there’s a distressing atmosphere on the trailer that promises Fever Dream is indeed a disturbing experience.

Finished binge-ing all 10 eps of this. This is in the thriller category- If anyone is interested in drugs, cartels, multiple murders, revenge killings, collateral damage, corruption, kidnapped children-switched identities, betrayal, more murder; this has everything.

I really liked it! I did think it ran out of steam toward the end (as they tried to tie everything together), but I still enjoyed it a lot. The performances and mystery were on point with episodes that hit the sweet spot of not being too short to convey what was happening but also not dragging. The episode where every time the dude picks up the phone, a bunch of time has passed...*chef's kiss*

This is all audio? Is this like an audible reading of a scary story or is this all character portrayal and acting throughout?
Hulu- “No Escape” 20 mins in- I guess at some point they’ll get to the action.
I got mine as a free subscription for a year when I bought a new iPhone. So far, I’ve only seen 1 apple original series and 1 movie that kept me engaged. Nothing else they have is interesting enough for me to follow through.
If I get bored enough, I might check this out. Only bc they keep shoving it in my face everytime I click on the app.
Does anyone on this thread have the Apple TV app on their tv. Why is the display extra large and bright as hell. Interface hurts my eyes when I open the app. Gives me a headache just to scroll through the selections. You know that feeling like when you’re in a classroom and the teacher turned off all of the lights for a presentation, your eyes adjust to being in the dark; the lights are turned back on, and you have to close your eyes for a sec because it’s too bright,that’s how this app looks.
