Just got done watching Willy s Wonderland. Movie was a trip.

Saint Maud was a disappointment

Not what I expected . At all. That was a task to get through- Did not like it. At all. Crazy angsty white girl doing crazy shyt - didn’t bother finishing it. I stopped at the bathroom scene when she was doing things with the guy she met at the bar. I don’t know what type of art house drama they meant to do but this was overhyped asf .

Yeah, I'd say it accomplished what it was going for but got too much hype (Black Bear is another new flick I feel that way about). The ending is wild but I'm not a fan of these movies that do 90+ minutes of build-up for a 10 minute payoff at the end. Seems like that's becoming a thing with some recent joints.

Shout out to this thread for making a great Sunday movie marathon for me. I went with the stuff yall have been mentioning.

Bloody Hell, Wrong Turn (2021) and Willy's Wonderland...It was a fun and trippy day. My head's kinda spinning, maybe I'll write something out to collect my thoughts on 'em. But I liked all three and have already suggested 'em to friends.
