Some guns come with faux cans and they look stupid when you take it off, so just get a stamp and get a real one.

Do you always shoot subsonic ammo through your can, if not, is there a big difference when you shoot regular ammo vs. subsonic ammo?

I respect that. But your equilibrium. You start poppin off rounds in your house, youre not going to out in earplugs or wear any hearing protection. Them shyt get loud and Echo off every wall, instinctively that loud sound will close your eyes, throw off your equilibrium. Think if someone threw a flash bang in your house.
Fire off a round indoors and you will either go deaf or have some serious tinnitus. If you have a family you need to think about them as well. Suppressors are a bytch to get but they are worth it for home defense.

I keep my electronic earmuffs on my nightstand. 20ft motion sensors and surveillance all around my property so I'll get advanced notice. Got ran up on before, it won't happen again.

Even if you go through a place like silencer shop, filing for a tax stamp as a individual or through a trust is a pain in the ass. And then after all that shyt, you still have to wait 3-6 months.
