its not about your size. but real talk, just go to the gun range and try different calibers and see what feels comfortable to u. but like others have said for reliable home defense u want a .38, .357, .44, 9mm, .40, or .45.

Will do. I've just been feeling like as a woman living solo I need to be protecting myself someway. My dad has CCW and told me I should look into it.

Anyway the famas are rare, I don't even think France imports these. Check sellers in Africa. Maybe your friend can buy it a piece at a time

I actually brought this up to my stepdad (in law enforcement and certified on like 4 different guns) today and his suggestion was something a little bigger than a .38

Made an appt at the range for next week to see what they think.
