Check out the rwc izhmash saiga 7.62x39 (I have that), it comes with CAA furniture.
It's an excellent ak, no problems shooting, no short stroking; nothing. The only problem I had was with the hand guard wobble, it was a 20 min fix. The 2nd generation hand guard do not have a flush fit, so I just took it apart and filed down the notches on both the upper and lower.

Can be interchanged with different calibers quite easily actually. Both the 9mm (the one im buying) and the .40 are the same price. Saw a .357 convert on gunbroker but im not about that life. 9mm is perfect. Will likely buy a cheaper .40 cal from taurus after this purchase. Those police owned pistols on budsgunshop are kind of calling my name too. Saw one from the california department of wildlife with the bear emblem engrained* on it for cheap
Same with detroit pd and a couple others
No experiences with it but, it seems like any other AR15 with a couple features that appear to be solutions to problems that don't really exist or matter. For that $1,200 you could get a Colt, which would hold it's value much better or a really nice BCM upper with a lower that's tailored to your wants and still have some money left over for a decent optic and some ammo. It's a decent gun though and I haven't really heard anything bad about them. If you like it, I'd say go for it.
