This NBIB background check process shyt is starting to bother me.
I keep getting delays on my purchases when I go to pick up. Never happened to me before (both shotguns)...
to me the delay shyt is offensive I have no felonies/misdemeanors and don’t have a common name either. Are they delaying me because I’m military and I pop up in too many places? Or is it adding the social to the form? Or are they delaying me because it’s just a shyt ton of people buying now.
they never actually finish the investigation I end up picking up the firearm in a few days once the store is able to release it. Like today I just got a fear 109 waited like 40 minutes for them to say it delayed.
Is there anyway I can bypass that shyt from now on?

If you have lived in several different states over the course of your life that can cause delays.
Makes sense than . Is it anyway I can bypass that like get a permanent card or something?
Yes, i forget exactly what it is but if you get some sort of card or maybe it's a ccw permit you can bypass all that.

everybody's getting delayed cause of corona. my dealer told me it's getting a little better, federal backlogs are down to 1-2 days for him and he's actually getting call backs with a proceed/deny. my state backlog is like a week long though now (they're the nics contact point for handguns), there's a group of dealers who are gonna sue the state to get their shyt together.
u can bypass it with by applying for a vaf upin but it's a huge pain in the ass. and it doesn't sound like they're going after you personally anyway, just the normal delays everyone's having.

I've had two checks in the last month or so. Both took about 45 minutes but came back with a "proceed". Which is odd since they are so busy. I'm surprised they didn't just delay it. I figured they were going through my browsing history and got caught up in Coli piff

I legit don’t know the rhyme or reason. I used to go straight through. But these last 2 purchases have both been delayed. shyt if they browse internet history Pornhub is going to take me out the game.

I do have a ccp. I’m not sure if it differs by the state. It’s something called a UPIN I believe I should apply for. But that may or may not matter. Any background check I do would show up with me living in 6 states and some other different military related issues. This is also my last year in service so it may not really matter much. But I do know these last 2 purchases have held me up longer than any other purchase but it’s also the covid buying going on.
I’m going to look at the UPIN process if it’s something real simple I’ll just do it. But I have a feeling I’m probably just going to get held up anyway until this is over.

it's only for some states, mine wants to do this but isn't allowed by the feds cause our ccw licenses are valid for longer than 5 years
