I know I've posted earlier in this thread.
The Mr bought an ar15 today.
Something extra in the house in these post election times.

Finally got my license switched over to Texas so I can get my open carry permit after the holidays.

They had AR 15 for $500 at one of our local shops, regret not picking one up

Can any Los Angeles or Southern Cali brehs point me in the right direction? I've shot guns in the past but not knowledgable at all. I want an inexpensive handgun to start with and will buy more once I get my money up. Any recommendations on straps, stores/gun shows and any info I should keep in mind will be greatly appreciated.

I plan to probably take a class and get a range membership too.

I'm not a gun person but I think I'm finally coming around. :snoop:

What's a good starter pistol?
Also, I thought revolvers were the best guns to have... because they never jam.
I'm presuming you're a beginner? If so, a nice snubnose revolver is a good start.
I'm not sure now but I remember Ruger having a reputation for making the finest revolvers money can buy.
I owned an SP101 .357 magnum and it's served me well. I regret selling it.

I advocate revolvers cause it makes sense for self defense to point and shoot vs a shoot out like you in a movie. I keep a LCR double action
