This Prime fault....was stuck on stupid with skill players...I never met a team that sucked with an great oline.

I think you mean, you've never seen a good team with a bad o-line.

But yeah i agree their focus on recruiting was on skill and "talented" players meanwhile they neglected having a strong core(d and o line).

Their secondary defense is "cool" but their d line can hardly put on any @Pressure on the run or qb.

When you got a good line on both ways..it makes everyone job easier and you can have avg to walk players and still ball out.

Every running back ate on that Denver Oline from Terrell Davis to Clinton Portis.

Hell the Dallas Cowboys "Wall" was savages.

Drew Brees even had amazing oline until his last 5 years in the league with the Saints.

Prime gotta remember that the most important positions are closest to the football: QB/O-line/D-line. He's got 1 out of 3.

Solid teams have 2 of 3; great teams got 4 and 5-stars in all 3 spots.

They gotta get more talent AND beef up the S & C program. I think he can get some defensive linemen but......offensive line is going to be hard. Every high school coach and dad in the country sees how Prime throws o-linemen under the bus for his son. This ain't basketball.

Seaton’s Bama bound imo but if i’m CU, I empty out the NIL war chest for Seaton

He’s not as good as his ranking is. Georgia wouldn’t give him the greenlight but a place like CU would be a damn good look for KJE since he has freakish size as a DE

I don’t think anyone has a good read on where Seaton is going …including Seaton himself …but his whole family is going up to Boulder for this OV and that’s just a position you want to be in if you’re CU you keep getting these elite guys on campus and eventually some will start committing

Understood and agreed to a certain extent. I just can’t get jiggy with throwing teenagers under the bus because you can’t make coaching adjustments in game for their deficiencies. Losing to Stanford was when he started looking funny in the light. Blowing that lead is coaching, not the kids.

I’m just saying we may have to start having some uncomfortable conversations in the future but I don’t know if everyone will be in the right emotional space and ready for that dialogue…

What are these uncomfortable conversations that people keep alluding to?

Sports are hypercompetitive, and the depth chart and losing your starting job is a REALITY at every level of football. Who is he throwing under the bus? The D1 FBS scholar athletes who know what time it is already about performing or being shown the door?

yea Lewis and the OLine coach Boyle are out of there after this year. Lewis took this job to improve his chances as a P5 HC and this shyt going to end badly for him. I don't think Shurmur is the answer either but we've been talking about how shytty the playcalling, personel packages, and tempo have been since pretty much the 3rd game, Nebraska game also had issues as well but not as shaky.
