Well they definitely need to run the ball.
They can run the ball with Hank. They can’t run the ball with Dylan between tackles, but use Dylan on sweeps.
It’s just been shytty playcalling and using the wrong personnel with the run game.
That UCLA/CU game was a one score game for 2.5 quarters, no reason why they shouldn't have at least tried to run the ball more, Lewis won't even attempt it. You got to at least try, the running backs had 11 carries combined, that's nuts.Well they definitely need to run the ball.

shytting on them behind closed doors is fine. Going up to the podium and saying your losing because the people you’ve been coaching and are responsible for are still ass and not you, is another. What are these uncomfortable conversations that people keep alluding to?
Sports are hypercompetitive, and the depth chart and losing your starting job is a REALITY at every level of football. Who is he throwing under the bus? The D1 FBS scholar athletes who know what time it is already about performing or being shown the door?

I don't remember the player, but there is one guy who is a holdover from last year's squad.shytting on them behind closed doors is fine. Going up to the podium and saying your losing because the people you’ve been coaching and are responsible for are still ass and not you, is another.
These things can be tough, I know. But discussions need to be had. Dialogue needs to take place.

Coach famously walked in, with cameras in tow , and aired the 2022 team out. Told them they'd be gone.
The player who stayed wasn't offended, and saw it as a challenge. He earned and retained whatever position he had last year, even as his proposed replacements transferred in.
As the last guy standing, I think his story is pretty well known. And I think Coach is challenging his current players the same way he publicly challenged the 1-11 team.
When they blowing 29-0 leads to Stanford, somebody may need to be airing coach out in front of the cameras too. I hear you though, this is heavy stuff. Very difficult to hear.I don't remember the player, but there is one guy who is a holdover from last year's squad.

There are a lot of dynamics at the center of this, notably philosophy and identity, and the optics of Deion being all "we won't stand for this" about it. Credit to him for making a change though. Most coaches are stubborn for no reason.
Have to wonder why he's put up with Charles Kelly's trash ass if he's willing to make coordinator changes, but that more-or-less speaks to the politics of this whole deal.
The reason I said it'll be funny to watch is because going from a philosophy that hoped to not rely on the offensive line much, to a NFL guy in the attempt to become more "ball control" is wild to do in the final quarter of the season.
Funny enough I found out about it by seeing Shedeur trend on twitter.Honestly... terrible decision by Deion right now. Shurmer is not the answer, and your burning a bridge to other potential "high level" coaches who want to come over and stay for a year or two (ala Alabama) before getting a HC job somewhere

I think Deion is just trying to save his son. Maybe more rollouts, running the ball from under center, etc etc.
They dont have the Oline and Sheduer isnt really trying to thread the needle on tight coverage/tight window throws.
These are the the adjustments to help him survive the year physically and try to establish a real running game.
Don’t understand why the have gone to bigger personnel packages and kept a few guys in just to chip off the edge for some of these pass reps. It’s like Sean’s only answer to his line degradation was to go to the WR screen game … they don’t even run RB screen and they got one the fastest players in the nation at that position in Edwards. He seems like a nikka that has no pivot ability in his coaching, it’s just a stagnant system when everything isn’t perfect.if you watched Arizona State/2nd half of Stanford/UCLA games with sound on all 3 color commentators(Lincoln Kennedy/Louis Riddikk/Kirk Hirbstreit) have been pointing out that the offensive playcalling needs to adjust due to the line. this isn't just "Shedeur is holding onto the ball too long" anymore, dude doesn't even have the time to drop back without nikkas on his ass.
