This team was 1-11 last year….

If anything Deion is Jesus fukking Christ with how much he’s turned the organizations fortunes around in a single season
Understood and agreed to a certain extent. I just can’t get jiggy with throwing teenagers under the bus because you can’t make coaching adjustments in game for their deficiencies. Losing to Stanford was when he started looking funny in the light. Blowing that lead is coaching, not the kids.

I’m just saying we may have to start having some uncomfortable conversations in the future but I don’t know if everyone will be in the right emotional space and ready for that dialogue…

Why would the conversation be uncomfortable? Average team that isn’t well coached. Period. We don’t look for safe emotional spaces when we critique other coaches, why should Deion be any different? And it’s not gonna get any easier next year in the Big 12.

He's done a good job this year improving Colorado from what they were last year, but "tripling their wins" isn't that impressive considering that they only had 1 win last year.

Now if he tripled wins from 2 to 6, or 3 to 9, that would be more impressive.

Again, he deserves his credit for making improvements, but improving from a one win team should not be hard to do for a competent coach.
That’s precisely what makes it impressive :gucci:

They build you up to tear you down. Same people who say Deion has no idea what he’s doing are the same ones who ignore how average Dabo and Saban look without multiple NFL talent at every main position.

We Coming :mjcry:

It’s all or none with this crowd shyt frustrating because you can’t have a decent dialogue

Thus why all of the "c00n," "cac because you disagree with me," "on code," and all of the Black culture gatekeeping is an absolute negative mark on a forum geared towards discussions of our lives as Black people.

However, if the admin team of this site is fine with all of this buffoonery, stupidity, childish get-backs, and lack of critical thinking, all we can do is suffer for the allowed foolishness.

Yes and no.

It's always impressive to improve a win count. But not as impressive when the bar is so low. Sure, if they end up 4-8, they "improved" but are still a 4 win team. That's not a "good" team.

It's worthy of credit but taking a total trash team to a simply bad team isn't a water into wine accomplishment.

It's not easy to go from terrible to good, but the hardest thing to do is to go from good to great.

Lots of halfway competent coaches can take a terrible team and make them less bad or mediocre. A competent coach can make them good.

Deion has done a stellar job in many respects, but the real impressive job will be in years 3-4 IF he continues to win more each year.
